This is a genuine pair of Victorian earrings hung with an acorn shaped pendant. They date to the late 19th century and are loosely Etruscan revival in style. They are thickly faced with 9 carat rose gold, this has worn on some of the high points (as can be seen in the photograph) but is basically intact- gold facing requires a thicker coating of gold than gold plated- these are precious earrings. The wires are solid 9 carat yellow gold and are the fish hook style.Each earring measures 4.5 cm in length.They are in good condition with just a little wear to the plate and a few small dints.I shall answer any questions as quickly as possible.Thanks for looking.
