36 years ago when I got married, I went to an estate sale. A woman was selling all of her mothers lace, tatting, trims, bedspreads etc. I was so taken by all her work that I bought it all. At the time she told me her mother made most of these items when she was a young woman-sometime in the late 1800\'s. She also was a collector of lace and patterns so I have a huge variety. I will be selling them off individually so check back and see what new things I have found.

From what I can see, they are all in great condition. They have just been in a box for the last 100 years and need to be cleaned and pressed. They are not musty. They have been in a closet in a house.

They would be lovely for so many uses. Wedding dresses, baptismal dresses, trim for handkerchiefs, doll outfits, lace flowers etc. So many uses. I believe these are all old and therefore likely all cotton.

This sale is for 2 wonderful pieces of what looks to be chemical orSchifflilace. It is a total of 38\" long and about 1\" wide. It is a lovely design and in great shape.There are some small rust stains and discoloration that need to be cleaned out. Nothing major. Looks like some French lace I used to have but I don\'t know where it was made.
