Here we have a Vintage Mantel Clock in a striking Art Deco Retro design.

Probably from the 1930s or 1940s.

Stunning modernist wood (walnut?) case with chromed feet.

No brands or marks anywhere on it,but surely it has an 8 day movement working very well,I kept it running for about a week and it run forward only of a couple of minutes.

At the back there is a metal label stating : \" GLASS CENTRE FIXING - PATENT N 445969 \"

I suppose in its life it used to have a dial or a glass at the front,because if you look closely you will notice 4 closed holes.

Very Nice and Elegant though
