Hand carved mahogany wood.

Lobi People, Burkina Faso in South Eastern Africa. Used bythe Lobi woman as a work stool for the fields and milking goats, with a handlethat is a human head, lovely patination, with deep rich hues. Top is incised,decorated with geometric forms on the seat.

Size: 6 ½” x 13” long x 5 ¾” wide.

Condition is good with an untouched patina, normal use wear,top and one leg has an age shrinkage crack that doesn’t go all the waythrough.
