Antique Vintage Chinese 4.5 Inch Mudman Figurine:

I am unsure of the age of this figurine, however based on the research I have done I believe it to be vintage, possibly antique, due to the following reasons:
Color - the older mud figures are glazed in vibrant colors, most of the newer pieces lack the vibrant colors and their clothing and robes are more subtle in color
Construction and materials-The older mudmen have holes in the clay for their eyes, ears, & nose
Vintage/antique mudman faces, feet, hands, and any exposed skin is left in the natural clay form. While theextremities ofmodern figures are also left unglazed, the clay is quite smooth and uniform in texture giving them a more modern appearance.
Most older figures have a hole in the bottom of the base which extends up into the figure; artists used this whole to create their work around their finger. Many modern pieces have a solid base or sometimes simply a vent hole in the base that is smooth and opens into a machine formed cavity rather than the primitive clay finger hole.
Based on the above listed reasons I believe this figure is either antique or vintage, however I am no expert so please rely on your own research and knowledge.
Approximate dimensions: 4.5\" H x 2\" W x 1.5\" D
Condition: This figure is missing his right hand, other than that I believe him to be in very good condition, however I have included many photos so that you may see and judge for yourself the condition of this lovely old figurine.
