Check out this lovely old white metal pincushion trinket box. The pin cushion is gold velvet which is in well used condition, soiling & fading from age, worn pile loss, is very firmly packed, but is still in good working condition. The lining is a gold colored satin in good condition, with soiling from age. The bottom is fully stamped with makers hallmark \"Middletown Plate\" Quadruple Plate (2) Hard White Metal. I have not cleaned the metal, but have left it as found at an estate sale. The band a metal work going around the diameter is a very detailed viney branch with little flowers. It measures a nice large 5.5\" in diameter. This is a heavy piece weighing over 1 pound. This is a very lovely sewing item and hope it will find a good new home.
