The braided design that makes up the band of the bangle is known as Russian weave, and gives this bracelet a wonderfully textured layered look, the silversmith carefully braised together strips of sterling silver that intertwine in an unbroken chevron-like pattern along the whole of the bracelet. Understated and elegant, this bangle would make a lovely accent on its own, or can be stacked with other bangles.

The History
This piece is made in an Art Deco Flapper style ! The Art Deco Flapper style became an absolute sensation with women C. 1920 when the style turned to colorful, and outlandish dresses! This attire of course needed shiny cocktail jewelry to go along with these ladies to the ball, so amazing statement pieces filled with diamonds and high-quality gold designs sprung up as a result!
