This is the most amazing piece of art you will ever see. The face within vines and flowers all in amazing sterling silver. Hallmarked. The closure is two acorns. The inside of the purse\'s material seems to have no rips or tears. It was very well taken care of. Someone had cleaned the silver part of this item at one time. The purse outside material is in nice condition and has no tears or rips, however it may have some pieces of the embroidery that may be lose or broken from its originating place. May need cleaning, as I am not familiar with caring for Victorian clothing. That will be up to the new owner. Please ask questions before you offer. The widest part of the purse is 8.5 inches. The actual opening is 5.5 inches. the chain is also sterling and has been tested, along with the closure. This item is from the top not including the clasp 8 inches deep. Beautiful piece of history.
