saleUp for your consideration is this Antique Vintage GE Vortalex Two Speed Chameleon BladeFanRestored Working.Vintage GE Vortalex Cat. No. FM10V41. Two speed electric fan. Fan was disassembled, cleaned and refinished with a Hot Cherry Red base coat and finished with an automotive grade clear coat painting system. Blade are painted with aChameleonbase paint with same automotive clear coat.This is a pretty neat effect paint which allows the blades to appear deep purple/ black /reddish orange dependent upon light and angle at which viewing blades.The center button is my own manufacture and is not factory...
Head cord replaced and all electrical connections replaced older chord replacement in keeping with era of fan also new felt added to base.Fan runs great on two spednoticeablespeed change between settings andoscillateswell. Also this fan is very quite however moves a lot of air so it is as functional as it is beautiful.
Fan approximate measures 15 1/2 inches tall with a 9 1/2 inch blade.
