Antique (made about 1890-1925) Enamel Locket.The Enamel is in mint condition.There is a Lavender/blush hand painted Rose on a white-ish (hint of sage green) background.The locket slides open sideways and closes securely (without a click sound but stays closed securely).
Likely made in Germany, France or Switzerland.It is from the Victorian / Art Deco Art Nouveau time period (turn of the last century).It is silver and the back is stamped \"900\" and it also has a stamp or hall mark that looks like a Lyre or Harp.It is large and heavy.It weighs 27.3 grams.Including the bail it measures: 50mm x 30mm x 6mm ( 2\" x 1 3/8\" x 1/4\").The enamel portion only measures: 38mm x 30mm (1 1/2\" x 1 3/8\").The inside mirrors have had the back wear off due to time and so reflect in part and are clear glass in part.(One photo shows an apple in the mirrors reflection - that is from my iphone).INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING IS $40 (I INSIST ON TRACKING ).
