I have listed here forsale, this old German Carving or Slicing knife that I have had for a long time in my old collection. Marked J.A. Henckels Twin Works, Solingen, Germany. Also marked Grand Prize Paris 1900, St. Louis 1904. The 6 pinned wood handle is tight and in good condition, not sure of the type wood, maybe rosewood or walnut. The carbon steel blade has a few light stains and a few light sharpening marks, free of nicks and is very sharp and is flexible just enough to make for nice carving. Theoverall length of the knife is18inches with an12 1/4inch blade.This knife is ingood condition for age. Nice rare item for theHenckels collector.
