This standard size or Edison base 40 watt large Christmas figural light bulb was made in Japan in the 1920s to early 1930s. Made of clear painted glass, it\'s 8-1/2 inches tall and depicts a hooded Santa or Father Christmas figure in long coat holding a feather pine tree. Toys and dolls are embossed at the lower front of his coat. The bulb fits a standard light socket and works fine.The metal threads are marked \"HK 120V 40W Tungsten Japan\"Comes withoriginal red and green bakelite base.
RARE SANTA Light bulb in Figural Santa is full color, hand painted glass. Enclosed inside is a 40w bulb with regular standard screw base. It is marked \"Made in Japan\" around the 40w 120v screw lines.
This is the original era bulb which all the later repros were made from! Great because it has the standard base.
The whole unit stands 9\" tall. The base is 4¼\" diameter. The cord is several feet long. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
