Up for sale is this really great, super rare Markel bankers lamp.This lampsis one the best examples of the stunning items that were made in the art deco time period. The base is wooden with a black painted lacquer, featurestonsof beautifulchrome detailing, and has a blacktin shade. It has heavy atomic era stylization.The pictures don\'t show just how great this lamp looks. Its in good working order, it has a plastic cord with a Bakelite plug. Its in good condition, there are some scratches and scrapes here and there that are consistent with age. The Bakelite cap shown in picture 6 also has a small cosmetic chip out of it on the back side. For its agethe condition overall is quite good.It stands about a foot tall, the base is 10 inches long. I\'ve had this lamp in my collection for several years, andits the only one I\'ve ever seen in person. There were very few of these lamps made, and this particular model is a rarity by itself.
