This was a blank unfinished cooking dish made by Emile Henry in Burgandy, France and the sold to Henriot Quimper to be finished.

This piece has never been an oven and was used as a display piece for decades in Metz, France.

The signature HR Quimper, France was used between 1925-1968.

Emile Henry died in 1950 and we were told this was a wedding gift in the 1930s in the Lorraine region of France.

It measures 14\" by 10\" by 2.5\" and in great condition!

The base has slight wear on the bottom from living its entire life on a table top.
