This sale is for the most fabulous hand crochet granny square afghan. Expertly constructed from many, many, many different pastel cotton threads. The entire afghan is framed and edged in pure white fine, crochet threads. Small, beautiful squares each measuring 2.5 inches square. This throw is like a quilt in that no two squares are alike. Our frugal, talented ancestors created these wonderful pieces from scraps. Excellent, clean, vintage or antique condition. No holes or breaks, but threads remain from tying off threads as pictured in slide 8. In bright light with a magnifying glass we see yellowng of white threads in the white squares in three or four places as pictured in slide 7. Perfect for a throw or spread. Our picture shows this spread on our high queen sized bed to give you an idea of the size. Measures approximately 56 inches by 76 inches. Sooo shabby. We love this!
