A superb and massive example of Arab Jambiya often referred by collectors as Wahabite Jambiya. This large dagger / short sword is common in the Western regions of Arabia, Hijaz and Asir, and was carried on the front in an almost horizontal position.The scabbard is wood covered with leather and mounted with richly decorated with silver filigree locket and chape. Comes with its original thick embroidered leather belt with carrying loops and steel buckler. An impressivetop quality real fighting weapon in original antique untouched condition.
