Antique Wedgwood Dark Blue Water Pitcher President Washington Ben Franklin RARE:

This statelypitcher features framed cameos of George Washington, front and Benjamin Franklin on the reverse. The top jasper border is ivy & grapes. Bottom border is a straight line. Handle is spiralled, with white jasper border at both ends. Beautiful décor beneath the spout. The ground color is dark navy blue, not bright blue as the studio lighting suggests.

Approx. 8 1/4\" high. Bottom base is approx. 4 3/4\" across.

This seems to be a rare piece. I am not sure of its age, but a similar piece I found was dated 1898 - 1907.

It is in great conition. I see no chips, cracks or re pair. Some cracks in jasper relief trim. There are some (yellow) stains, noticeable on the white jasper décor.
