Hi. You are offerding on an antique Wernicke crier doll. The crier mechanism works. She is 16 inches and dressed like a little Dutch girl. Her body is in really good condition as are her clothes. The back of her neck says Wernicke 178/6 and then there is a number under that but I can\'t read it. It could be a 10 or a 16. I think that material is hard plastic or celluloid. I read another similar sale of the same type doll with same number and that is what it said. The problem with this doll is that the eyes fell back in her head. They are in there, but you would need to be clever or a doll repair person in order to bring them up. The rest of the doll is in good shape and she deserves to be rescued. Her socks have some loose threads at the top and are unraveling in some areas. Her darling real wooden shoes are almost perfect but one has the start of a crack. She is old. Thank you.
