On offer this early Whiting & Davis Metal Mesh Bag dating back to around 1910

This stunning bag made by the esteemed Whiting & Davis is made gold coloured metal mesh with an amazing frame. To the top of the frame is attached a long gold chain typical of this era. The bag opens and shuts with a kiss clasp. The interior is made of a gold coloured organza material and the Whiting & Davies label is attached to the interior. To the back of the frame are the early signs of this wonderful make.

This fabulous bag is offered in good condition with no damage and the inside in good condition with some staining. Markings of the maker are stamped on the inside of the frame and a label attached to the interior. The bag measures 18.5 x 11 cms and the chain is 38 cms in length
