Tonight I\'m happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Antique - William Kerr - Early to Mid 1890\'s, Sterling Silver - Kissing Cherubs Motif - Chatellaine Pill Box.

EXCELLENT CONDITION! - !

This gay and whimsical box dates from the early to mid 1890\'s, of American make and origin, made by \'William Kerr\' fashioned as an oval shaped 1.75\" by 1.25\" silver pill box featuring a hinged lid with an intricate chased relief od kissing cherubs or cupids and chased scroll work accents.

I believe the box was originally part of an elaborate chatellaine, the box has a silver loop at the top and could be worn on a chain as a pendant/necklace if desired.

The box is in excellent condition showing little wear other than normal use with no damage, repairs or restorations, only in need of a good polishing. The box is monogrammed on the back with the initials \'JMC\' which can be buffed off if desired.

The box is marked on the back with the familiar Kerr silver mark and Sterling.
