Here is a Victorian past masters masonic jewel - medal... the gilt base metal bars are interesting.. they look like they are in half.. they are not.. they were made like this for a short period....the pale blue ribbon is a little grubby.
The jewel hung from the bottom would have been gilt when new.. part remains ..its got good patina with lustre & tone.
It has the paste brilliants around the pale blue glass centre and then it has the gilt masonic devices on top.
Turn it over to see the back is plain.. its not been engraved..it has no silver marks either but be assured this is silver.
The jewel ribbon is 1 and 3/4 inch wide x 4 and a quarter inch long overall .. the jewel is not flat ..its 3/8ths inch deep.
