Wonderful, large4 1/4\" tall, heavy yellow celluloid,standing, dressed \"Easter Rabbit\",spring-timetoy with finely molded, male Easter bunny rabbit holdinga chick under each of his arms.This charmingmale bunny is standing in a green grass meadow with molded flowers at his feet and wearing a fitted waistcoat with lapels, bow tie, vest, watch chain and sandals with single straps. The birds and the inner ears are colored mauve pink.This exampleis from an extensive collection of salesman\'s samples obtained from the closed factory which was used as one of their models in the factory and shows evidence of this with the original sample number on the base as well as the original salesman sample with display string and hook still attached as shown on page49, \"Celluloid Dolls Toys & Playthings\" -Robinson.He is direct from the closed USA factory (in Leominster, Ma.* and closed in 1973after producing one of the largest assortment of blown celluloid and plastic baby toys in the world). He has the IRWIN circular name in bannerUSA signature on the back and is in excellent condition with no cracks or holes andno chips or repairs. *In 1924, the Viscoloid company sold their molds to the IRWIN Corporation.
