Antique or vintage unusual bone and wood dip pen in a old velvet case:

I don\'t know much about this pen, but it\'s intriguing.
The handle appears to be made of very lightweight wood, maybe bamboo. May be hollow.
The nib appears to be bone or a similar material. It has a little hole in it through which some strapping (not sure if its straw or very old thin leather or sinew) attaches the nib to the handle. The nib wiggles a bit side to side, but not at the angle at which you\'d write.
About 5.5\" inches long.
I don\'t know if the old grey velvet box was made for the pen, but it fits pretty pleasingly in there. Half closing mechanism (hasp) is missing.
