Antique pitcher and bowl set from about 1900, Royal Doulton:

This huge pitcher and bowl set is marked Royal Doulton and dates from about 1901. Very impressive and showy. I understand that if it was in perfect condition I could easily expect to realize $1000-1500 for it at sale, and retail would be significantly higher. However, it is not perfect. The bowl has a small chip near the rim (see photo). The pitcher has a number of hairlines. I have photographed some of them, and later in the week I will add photos of the others, and hopefully also a clearer photograph of the mark.These are noticeable up close, but the set displays very well. There are very few such sets available today, that are genuinely Royal Doulton and dating from around 1900, and certainly that are this large.
