A very rare interesting detailed statue / figure of a Female Rhythmic Gymnast with ball. Female gymnast figures from this time are extremely hard to find hence all the modern replica\'s.This statue is part of a lot of sporting statues thatcame from a well known sportstrophies, medals,engraversshop \"Herblot\" from Amsterdam. This statue is old stock that was never sold. It dates from between 1920-1930. The time of the Amsterdam Olympic Games.(1928) The statues were imported from other manufacturers to resell and ifnecessary engrave. Judging by the style of the figures it seems very likely that they were made in Germany. They have got the Germanicidealistic influence. Obviously they were popular and sold as souvenirs during the Olympic Games. This actual statue issilver-plated metal which has tarnished over the years and is polished to shine but still needs polishing in detail. There is some solderingvisible by the feet of the figure. This doesn\'t notice too bad. Check out my other female gymnast figurine. The figure stands 10.1\" tall to her head. (26 cm) . The actual figure measures 8.4\" (21.5cm) .
