Rare victorian seashell sailor\'s sewing box with 2 pin cushions and a storage box with silver embossed foil lid and lining on bottom of inside. original glass mirror that\'s not broken or cracked that it does have loss of silver. This is a very old box with lots of where a lot of these boxes were made and didn\'t survive but very few sewing boxes made. It is approximately 4.5 by 6.5 inches and 2.5 inches tall the Box section with the shells on top makes it approximately 4 inches tall and weighs 1.1 pounds unpacked weight. Lots of missing shells some damage but overall still a wonderful piece and very rare to find for a sewing collectible. Please see all photos it originally had for small feet but they are long gone.
