ANTIQUE "RINGER" BOOTH GAMES (?) PENNY DROP SKILL MACHINE - RARE

This is a rare penny drop skill game called "RINGER" believed to be made by Booth Games Co. of Minneapolis, Minn. in the 1930's as a companion to "Play Horseshoes" game. The machine is not marked by a manufacturer, but it is identical in every way to the "Play Horeshoes" The small sheet metal game is 10" high, 5-1/2" wide and 4" deep. and was designed to be either wall-mounted or screwed down on a counter (there are holes in the bottom to mount on a counter. The horseshoe themed playfied graphics are in nice condition and holds a penny in the winning center horsehoe slot until released by pressing a rod on the right side. There are two slots on the top to play the game.

The machine is in very good condition for its age and works well. The two-toned striped chrome finish has some wear and minor surface pitting, but still looks pretty good for its age. The top is painted with what appears to be original wrinkle black paint is in good condition. What appears to be the original lock and key are also included.

This hard to find machine that I could not find in any reference book (other than the name in a listing of trade stimulators in Bueschel's Trade Stimulator book which lists the maker as "unknown") would make a wonderful addition to your antique coin-op gambling machine collection.
