Antique1885 Niagara Falls Early American Pattern Glass Tray Platter Adam Buffalo:
$99.99

Absolutely stunning, large, late 19th century (c. 1885) early american pattern glass tray of Niagara Falls. Made for sale by J.N. Adam of Buffalo, NY.
Listed in Alice Hulett Metz\'s \"Much More Early American Pattern Glass\" reference book, page 182-183.
Beautiful imagery of the American and Horseshoe (Canadian) Falls, a small boat and tourists on the rocks below the American Falls where the Maid of Mist is today and a rainbow framing the scene. Also shows Terrapin Tower, which was built by General Parkhurst Whitney, existing from the 1820s until 1889.
Size is 16\" W x 11 3/4\" L x 1\" H.
Condition is excellent - some minor surface scratches from over 130 years of existence! There is a tiny rough spot on the underside of the right handle - may be a result of manufacturing or possibly a small chip (I tried to show in photos 6 and 10, but truly it\'s barely noticeable). It\'s not rough, but I noticed it as I inspected the piece very closely.
Very rare piece in excellent condition!
