Our daughter asked for wood slab decor at her wedding so my husband went to the \"oak grove\" and used a chainsaw to cut the wood.
We dried the slabs with a large fan for several days. Slabs are unfinished and totally safe for all food. There are some natural cracks in the wood but not all the way through.
Some of the bark could fall off during shipping but will try to package it very carefully. If any hunk falls off it could be glued back on with a dab of hot glue.
We are listing 4 different sizes of slabs and will combine shipping.
