Darling pair of antique German bisque twin dolls by Armand Marseille. Mold number 996. This cute set measures 14 inches long each. Their low-fire bisque heads are incised with: A.M. Koppelsdorf Germany 996 0 1/2M. They are dressed in possibly their original cotton knit playsets including top, bottoms and hat. They have working blue glass sleep eyes and open mouths with two upper teeth. No hairlines or chips. There is some paint loss at the sides of one doll head as shown from tape and some small paint rubs. They have five piece composition baby bodies that are in nearly pristine condition. In addition to the antique playsuits, they are wearing replaced wigs, replaced pates, replaced socks and booties. All in good condition. The shirts and bottoms are sewn on to the dolls. These dolls are circa 1920\'s era. No doll stands or other accessories included. Delightful twins for your nursery! (091114305)
