  • Offered here is one of the most impressive bronze clad Indian bookends sets ever produced.
  • The set was produced by Armor Bronze.
  • It is signed by the sculptor A Meliodon on the side of piece.
  • Circa 1920 The set was simply called \"Indian\" in the Armor Bronze 1920 catalog
  • The patina is very good. It is \"verde\" rather than brown
  • Take a good look at the photos for condition , which is very good. The patina is great.
  • Note that both of the noses have some bumps but no breaks.
  • The set very large: 8-1/4 inches tall, 7 inches wide and 3-3/4 inches deep. The pair weigh 11 pounds 2 ounces.
  • Remnants of one original felt.
  • I am more than happy to put new felts on.
  • Shipping is $20.
Note: there are no breaks in the cladding. The light spots are light reflections. This is at least as good as the set that sold Monday night for $650+.
