  • Offered here are a scarce pair of whimsical pirate bookends by Armor Bronze.
  • In the 2006 Collectors Encyclopedia of bookends they are listed as \"Pirate Carrying Booty\" Bookends,
  • circa1927
  • One of the bookends is marked \"P Beneduce\", (sculptor),
  • Listed in the Kuritzky/DeCosta Book, Rarity-#5, ($495.00)
  • Take a good look at the photos. These are a very collectible pair of bookends,
  • Age appropriate wear. No breaks in the cladding. Some small dings on the base.
  • The paint is in very good shape other than the white paint which just did not stand the test of time in that era.
  • The bookends are 8 inches tall, 7 inches wide and 2-3/4 inches deep. The pair weigh 5 pounds 9 ounces,
  • Original felts.
