Arne Jacobsen | A rare Electric Alarm Clock for Lauritz Knudsen, ca. 1940
Electrically operated with spherical black bakelite cabinet standing on a tiered rectangular base, silvery white dial with and Arabic numerals. The wiring is original.
Height approx. 12 cm and 13 cm in length
Manufacturer\'s marks to the underside as follows: \'Lauritz Knudsen logo (twice) | Type 85314. 220V. 50 ~ 0,85 W LAUR. KNUDSEN MEK. ETABL. A/S | D inside a circle\'.
CONDITION: The cosmetic condition is excellent, with expected light handling wear only but no significant defects or damages. The clock works at the time of listing and has been in the Room 606 collection for more than 20 years. Obviously, as with all vintage electrical items, this item is sold as a decorative item only as I cannot guarantee safety or functionality.
