This is a Vintage Art Deco Eagle Goose neck desk lamp that has some age. it came with the old fabric covered wiring but this old insulation was crumbling. New wiring and a new socket has been installed to replace the old, unsafe wiring and now this old lamp is working perfectly once again after what appears to be many years just hanging around in a dusty attic. This lamp is mostly flat gray but its base has green showing through from a previous paint job long ago. The goose neck which is 11.5 inches long is free from corrosion and is working quite well. The 6.5 inch in diameter circular shade is dent free but there is a little paint chipping and a bit of rust, just enough it give this vintage lamp an ageless aura. The heavy oval cast base measures 7 inches by 5 inches and is predominately green with flecks of gray. The over all weight of this lamp is 3 pounds and 2 ounces.
