Mid-Century ART DECO FIGURAL LAMP ~ Nude Lady Recast from 1930\'s original mold. Lovely nude spelter statue has an antiqued-bronze patina. She has wings with her arms stretched upward as if encircling the shade. This vintage lamp is called \"Winged Victory\" ~ the shade has a wing design in opalescent white-pearl stained glass with hints of pink, green, and lavender. Lamp has a stepped base, distinctively Art Deco in style and design. During the 1920\'s thru 1940\'s these types of lamps were called \"radio lamps\" used for ambient lighting while listening to their favorite music or news station. The nude and semi-nude lamps were the most popular lamps of this type. The mid-century recasts are nearly as valuable as Art Deco era originals, as they were made from the same mold and vintage (40+ yrs old) now, becoming increasingly scarce and difficult to find with the glass shades.
