Offered in this sale is a very nice, high quality classic art deco smoke gray cut glass decanter and cordial set. I believe that this is Czech glass, however, I cannot say for certain that it is not French or even Italian. I would imagine someone will immediately recognize the distinctive form and shape and know who made this. The quality of the glass is as fine as it gets. Overall the decanter measures 11\" tall with the stopper and weighs a little over 3 1/2 pounds. The bottle alone measures roughly 7 3/4\" tall x 5 1/2\" wide. The cordials measure 2 3/8\" tall x 2 1/2\" in diameter across the top. The condition of the bottle is very good. It has no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or evidence of grinding, however, it does have some light interior surface wall and base \"blooming\" from fluid left at some point in the bottle. The quality and scarcity of this would warrant investing having this buffed clean inside which can be done now. The five cordials are in good condition. Four of the five cordials have one or two tiny flea bites on the upper rim - primarily on a corner point - and the last glass has several small shallow chips on the outside edge of the upper rim which you can see illustrated in the 9th image. Even with the flaws this is a great set the displays nicely. Those of you who collect early deco glass will certainly appreciate this set.
