I love to hand pick antiques for re-purposed use in divination and ritual. This large scrying bowl is choice, the right depth, and a perfect size for the altar. I myself own a amethyst glass scrying bowl, and is perfect for this purpose. I have never seen one before in this color. Normally they are black, and the purple is only seen when the glass is held to light. Someone needs to buy this before I keep it for myself ;)
A nice vintage deep purple amethyst pedestal bowl with heavy art nouveau styled silver band rim. This bowl is a deep shiny purple, and appears to almost hold liquid before you even add water. Very rare and unique piece.
Heirloom quality. This antique fruit bowl is very good vintage condition and measures almost 9\" and is 3 inches high. There is a 1/8\" surface chip and a scratch and a small discoloration on the interior, plus there are a few flea bite chips on the bottom rim. These marks are barely noticeable when filled with water for scrying - I checked.
