Marked with number and carrying a very special mark of BRUXELLES REPRODUCTION INTERDITE\" in a triangle

I heard from local antique expert this was a limited production in beginning of 1900\'s and they delivered for the upper class / Royals etc , and did not wanted this sculpture to be copied. Reproduction interdite is French for \"no copy allowed\"

So you have here a very limited series ( nr 36 out of 50 i have been told by the expert , produced in Belgium, Bruxelles )

it has a few chips and 1 ear has been repaired in the past as you can see on picture but totally not disburding and still a very beautifull piece of 100 years old
