Welcome to our sale for a fabulous solid sterling silver tea pot hallmarked in Birmingham in the Art deco period, 1928. The handle andknop are a bakelite construction and original. Wonderful for a collection and to display---weight 533g as another alternative.
Approx dimensions : 10.75\"(27.5cms) wide handle to spout. 6\"(15.25cms) tall
Markings: see image-Makers initials JG Ltd forJoseph Gloucester Ltd. Birmingham anchor--lion passant--date letter D for 1928
Condition: There is sometarnishing to the silver at the end of thespot and base in particular. The handle is a little wobbly. The silver has some surfacestarts from use and cleaning but no major dents that we can see or splits. Please see images provided as we may have missed something--
