This vase has stamped marks on the bottom which are the Royal Doulton Seal, the crown mark with the lion atop and the number D 5078 which dates it to approximately 1931 the Art Deco Period. It was designed by Sir Frank Brangwyn. It is incised in sgrattito painted with stylized pine cones and foliage on a graduated creamy ground. Please look carefully at the photos as the bottom shows crazing commensurate with the age of the item. White dots in the photos are reflections from overhead lights and are not on the vase.
