DescriptionVintage Stoneware Stylish Mottled Glazed Art Deco Vase By Royal Doulton Dating from 1930 (X8831 149).Here we have a very decorative mottled glaze buff coloured stoneware vase by Royal Doulton of Nile Street, Burslem, Staffordshire, England. It is a very stylish decorative vase of bulbous form with an interesting mottled brown and beige glaze. It has a brown band around the rim. The base has the standard lion and Royal Doulton England mark no 1337 on Goddens encyclopaedia of British pottery and porcelain marks. It is also impressed with X8831 and 149, this X series number dates from 1930.The vase stands approx 6 1/2 inches high,body diameter is 5 1/2 inch andthe base diameter is 4 1/8 inch.
