Offered here for your considerationis an iconic Art Nouveau form designed by Archibald Knox for Liberty & Company. The pewter Bisquit Barrel for Liberty\'s Tudric line. A lidded box with stylized floral design to all side. Shaped integral finial to the lid. It dates to the late 19th or early 20thcentury.
It is in overallgood, as-pictured used estate condition with slight bends to the edges of the lid, sidewalls ever so slightly impressed on 2 sides, light edge wear, fine and light indentations and dings here and there, fine and light surface scratcheshere and there, and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
