The set is styled in ornate Art Nouveau fashion and depicts repoussé scrolls, birds, leaves and theGreen Man\'sface. Made by WI Broadway & Co and assayed for Birmingham - the pieces date for various years between 1953 and 1959.
ConditionVery good condition. Wear commensurate with age - bumps, scuffing, nicks. The wood is stained and old; the mirror has stains on the inside; both hair brushes are peeling out of their silver backs; one in particular. One hair brush has a small crack in silver along the edge. The pin dish cover on the lower half is not glued and can be removed, so its leather base can be pushed in with the jar is empty; the pin dish lid stays slightly raised.
