First edition, Hans Christian Andersen\'s Fairy Tales, illustrated by Arthur Rackham, published in 1923 in London by George Harrap. 288 pages, 12 color plates and numerous black/white illustrations.
Almost very good condition. Red cloth with gilt vignette. Less shelf wear than usual for a century old book, spine and corners bumped but not torn, foxing to the first and last page (closest to the covers) but otherwise clean throughout. Solid spine and netting. All illustrations in excellent condition. This book is a true treasure.
