RookwoodLeona Van BriggleHand Painted Vase
The underside as shown has the die impressed logo along with the artist initials.
Thevase itselfmeasuresjust over 6 1/2\" tall with a maximum width of 3 1/4\".
The vase is hand decorated floral designonabout 75%of it by the artist.
The decoration portionextends up into the stem of the vase as well.
It has a nice highgloss finish and if there was to be an apology it is that the vase exhibits some crazing due to the age.
On theunderside it has what appears to be a total of 14 marks (late 1800\'s)around the RP - then the artist\'s initials \"LVB\".
Information from an member about this vaseis that the 14 flames around the RPwith no roman numerals denotes a 1900 date. Their help is appreciated!!
In addition there is a number \"782\" and a blue dot?
There are no chips, cracks or repairs only the crazing as noted.
It has been black light tested with no repairs found.
