Here we have a fabulous Chinese Rosewood antique dining table with 8 matching chairs. Completely handmade in solid rosewood by artisans using traditional joinery techniques. The regular size is 60 inches and it has 2 additional rosewood removeable leaves. Each leaf is 18 inches giving a total of 96 inches when fully extended…8 feet!!!. (I also have one additional 18” leaf that is not the matching rosewood but fits perfectly extending the table to 114” that we used with a table cloth). The width is 36” and the table height is 30”. (my photos only show one leaf inserted)The design is classic Ming Asian motif with very clean and simple lines. I bought it 40 years ago, and it was not new then, so It is at least a half century old and probably older. It has aged beautifully and is in very good vintage condition, with only a few minor nicks. The chairs match perfectly and were designed to accompany the table. The chairs could use a little tightening but that is not really necessary. This is a timeless design that will fit well in many décor schemes. This is a $3000-5000 table but we moved and it does not fit our new home. It includes custom made table pads.
