Up for offers is this large beautiful cargo hook and ship\'s wood deadeye recovered off the wreck of the steamer ship Niko. The Niko ran aground and sank off Garden Island in 1926.
The base is made from one of the ship\'s white oak deadeyes which guided the ship\'s rigging. There is a brass plaque engraved with the artifacts details.
The iron hook has been professionally conserved and is 100% stable.
A beautiful display piece in excellent condition which would add class and distinction to any office or study or a home with a nautical theme.
