Presenting “Augie\'s Christmas Carols”from Dept.56 North Pole Series, item #56954.
In the second and thirdyears of the North Pole Series, Dept 56 released seven buildings with goldletters inside green wreaths over the doors.When arranged correctly, these letters spelled out “NORTH POLE.” In 2005, for the North Pole series fifteenth anniversary,Dept 56 issued five limited edition buildings with gold weather vanes whichspelled “SANTA.” The buildings were sopopular that, in 2007, another series of five buildings, spelling “CLAUS,” wasinevitable.
Augie\'s ChristmasCarols heldthe “A” weather vane atop the roof. Youwon’t see it in these pictures, because it has never left its plastic bag inthe box. A file photo is included sothat you can see the weather vane.
This building wasintroduced in December 2006 and retired in 2010. This item is used, but was removed from theoriginal box and packing material only to take these photographs. It was never displayed. The lit building measures 5-3/4 x 5 x 6-3/4\".
