This listing is for an Auguste Moreau stamped/signed lamp. It has also has a made in Paris, France seal stamped into the base. It measures approximately 29.5\" high from the bottom up to the top where a lampshade would attach. It measures approximately 7.5 inches in diameter across the base. The original cord is attached and the lamp works flawlessly without any issues. It has always been in a smoke-free home.I don\'t know when the lamp was made, but do know it\'s been in my family for at least 50 years. My mother had a set of (3). Please check my other listings to view the other Auguste Moreau lamps. My mom thought she obtained them when she was married in 1958. Unfortunately, my mother is currently residing in an assisted living facility, struggling a bit with dementia. Thus, I cannot provide additional details.
I\'m not a dealer or an expert (or novice for that matter) when it comes to antiques. This lamp and the other two may be rare and valuable. I honestly don\'t know their worth. I\'ve priced them according to so similar Auguste Moreau lamps that have been sold on . Hopefully, this lamp and the others will find their way into a good home where they can be appreciated.
I also have a matching lamp shade if you are interested. With the lampshade attached, the item measures approximately 32.5\" high by 12\" in diameter. Due to the size of the lamp with the lampshade, shipping gets very expensive. This listing is for the Auguste Moreau lamp only.
