Here for your consideration is an exquisite and rare, contemporary, sterling silver and gilt, fully hallmarked, limited edition goblet, with the stem in the form of a crowned rampant lion,proffering St.Edwards crown and supporting a shield bearing the arms of St.Edward, with tapering turned concertinaedbody, intricately engraved decoration, ribbed & rolled fluted foot, and beautiful gilt interior.
This Aurum Westminster Abbey Jubilee goblet was made by order of the Dean and Chapter of Westminster to commemorate \"The Silver Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II\", in 1977. A numbered limited edition goblet 578 of 750, designed by Tim Minett, and fully hallmarked with leopards head for the London assay office, lion passant, date letter a gothic \'C\' in a shield cartouche for 1977, makers stamp AM for Aurum and the optional Queens head Jubilee mark !!Please take time to look at all 12 photos to fully appreciate the exquisite quality ofworkmanship in this absolutely stunning silver and gilt goblet!!

Considering the age of this exquisite goblet, its in exceptionally goodcondition with no damage, repairs, dents or splits. It does have some beautiful silver and gilt patination, commensurate with its 37 years of age.
